Food and Wine Evening – April 2013

Finca El Otero, in conjunction with Escuela De Catas Alicante is hosting the second in the series of food and wine evenings.

Finca El Otero, set in the mountains in the town of Aigües, only 20 minutes from Alicante, is a perfect setting to celebrate food and wine.

Sommelier Aristides Cruz Sanjuan and Community Manager Agustín Piqueres will be discussing the wines in both Spanish and English.

This event will be held on Saturday 13 April 2013. We invite you to an evening of communion, fun and delicious food and wine for only €40.00 per person.

Evening commences sharply at 19h30 and ends at 23h30.

Menu

Tallegio Bruschetta / Higado de ave con espinacas sobre tosta-bruschetta y tallegio, queso emblemático italiano.
Wine / Vino: Viognier, Vins del Comtat.

Butternut Soup / Sopa de calabaza tipo ‘butternut’ y sus suaves.
Wine / Vino: Enrique Mendoza Edición Especial, Shiraz-Garnacha.

Tuscan Chicken and Rocket Salad / Ave a la toscana con ensalada de rúcula, con tomates seco, pesto y prosciutto.
Wine / Vino: Los Cipreses de Usaldón, Bernabé y Navarro.

Pavlova / Paulina. Merengue con crema y frutas.
Wine / Vino Fondillón, Salvador Poveda.

Tea / Coffee

Two glasses of each of the wines being tasted will be served with the courses. The wines will also be on sale at a special dinner club price.
Dos copas de los vinos catados serán servidas con cada plato del menú. Los vinos, además, podrán ser adquiridos a un precio especial durante las cenas del club.
