The Villa and garden provides for personal space and privacy. It is contemporary and comfortable and beautifully appointed with special art pieces and offers satisfying living areas indoors and outdoors with lounge and dining areas leading to a lazy veranda and boasts beautiful views from every room as well as from the expansive terrace. We offer private parking to our guests which is secure and free.
The weather is near to perfect for most of the year. The swimming pool is maintained all year round and is certainly ideal for soaking up the sun in the warmer months. In the few winter months the surrounds are great for walking while at night the fire places ensure warmth for cosy fireside moments.
Your rest is important to us
Our beds are Dorimé from the Netherlands. Your rest is important to us. The beds are made to experience pure comfort and have pressure relieving properties. Dorimé mattresses are often used for healthcare applications. Our double beds are 180cm wide and 210cm long. The single beds are 90cm wide by 190cm long. Our bedding is luxurious 400-thread count Egyptian cotton matched with decadent bath towels.
We offer two superior double rooms and four standard double rooms with the option of converting some of the standard double rooms into family rooms with extra single beds for children 12 years or younger.
Superior Double Rooms
Our two superior double rooms are located on the top floor, each has a private terrace with magnificent views of the sea and countryside.
These rooms are modern, comfortable and beautifully appointed.
These rooms each have underfloor heating. This is available as an optional extra for which there is a daily surcharge. Underfloor heating ideally must be activated 48 hours in advance of your stay and will remain in use until the day of check-out. The surcharge applies for the duration of activation. As a result of the energy crisis, we are experiencing unprecedented dramatic increases in energy prices. Instead of merely passing on the increase to our guests we have chosen to rather manage the situation with our guests to try and avoid rate increases. Our pricing assumes the basis of fair-use of the air-conditioner and as such, we ask two things: 1. The air-conditioner is to be switched off when guests are absent from the room. 2. Room doors and windows are not to be left open when the air-conditioner is in use.

Our four standard double rooms are located on the ground floor and each lead to a veranda out to the expansive grand terrace.

Occupancy capacity in some of the double rooms can be extended by the supply of additional beds for children 12 years or younger not adults.
A central flight of stairs leads to the lounge and dining room on the first floor with a south facing veranda and a north facing garden courtyard. Depending on the season, meals are served on either of these open spaces or in the dining room.
The swimming pool area is located below the expansive terrace which is furnished with pool loungers and plush pool towels. The treed garden is large with an area of farmyard animals, an open-air chess board as well as boule.
Finca El Otero is a non-smoking establishment however smoking is permitted in designated open areas. Smoking is not permitted in areas where food is served.
Free Wi-Fi is available to guests.
No pets are allowed, this is to preserve our own friendly canine family’s personal territory.
